Hubballi Kasabapet Police’s Lightning Response: Theft Case Solved in Just 8 Hours!

Hubballi: The Kasabapet police have successfully solved a theft case within an expedited timeframe of eight hours subsequent to the occurrence of the crime. The police team led by Inspector Raghavendra Hallur, apprehended the accused and recuperated stolen valuables amounting to Rs 1.20 lakh.

According to the police, the 30-year-old accused broke into a residence in Akkipet while its occupants were away from the premises. Upon their return at approximately 11 p.m. on November 18, the occupants discovered the burglary. Subsequently, the complainant promptly reported the incident to the Kasabapet police station, filing a First Information Report (FIR) at approximately 1 a.m.

During the course of the investigation, police officers observed that the accused had been monitoring their activities. Upon apprehending the individual, they conducted an inquiry into his reasons for surveilling their actions at the crime scene. The unemployed accused subsequently confessed to the crime.
